The eagle talon tsi turbo awd could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds while the eagle talon esi tsi turbo fwd had a slightly slower 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds due to its front wheel drive layout .
In 1997 , Diamond Star Motors changed its name to Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) and began selling vehicles under the Mitsubishi brand name .
