Tricia Leach Heart Attack
According to the American Heart Association, every year about 735,000 Americans have a heart attack. Of these, 525,000 are a first heart attack and 210,000 happen in people who have already had a heart attack. Tricia Leach is one of those statistics.
At only 38 years old, she suffered her first heart attack while at work.
Tricia’s story is not unique. Every day across America, people young and old experience the sudden and often devastating effects of a heart attack.
But what exactly is a heart attack?
A heart attack occurs when the blood flow to your heart muscle is cut off or severely reduced. This happens because the arteries that supply blood to your heart become blocked by plaque (a buildup of fat and cholesterol).
Plaque can slowly form over many years until it finally ruptures or bursts open, causing a clot to form that completely blocks the artery. When this happens, blood can no longer reach that part of your heartbeat muscle and it begins to die.
The symptoms of a heart attack vary from person to person but usually include some combination of chest pain or discomfort; shortness of breath; sweating; nausea or vomiting; lightheadedness or dizziness; and/or pain extending into your shoulder, arm, back or jaw.
If you think you may be having a heart attack call 9-1-1 immediately! Do not drive yourself to the hospital – get there as quickly as possible by ambulance so medical help can begin en route if needed. And remember – even if you’re not sure it’s a heart attack – don’t delay!
Time is critical when it comes to treatment for this life-threatening condition!

Keep Your Daydream Ages
Assuming you would like a blog post titled “Keep Your Daydream Alive”, here you go:
We all have dreams. Some of us want to be rich, some of us want to be famous, and some of us just want to make a difference.
Whatever your dream is, it’s important to keep it alive.
It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and forget what we’re working towards. We can lose sight of our dreams and let them fade away.
But if we don’t keep our dreams alive, what else do we have?
Here are a few ways to keep your dream alive:
1) Write it down – This may seem like a no-brainer, but it’s important to actually physically write down your dream.
Seeing it in writing will help you remember what you’re aiming for and keep it at the forefront of your mind.
2) Talk about it – Don’t be afraid to tell people about your dream! The more you talk about it, the more real it becomes.
And who knows, maybe someone you tell will be able to help you achieve your dream.
3) Visualize it – It may sound cheesy, but visualization really works. Close your eyes and imagine yourself achieving your dream.
What does that look like? How does it feel? Really try to put yourself in that moment and hold on to that feeling.
4) Take steps towards it – This one is key; without taking action towards your goal, it’ll never become a reality. But even small steps will get you closer than doing nothing at all!
5) Believe in yourself – This is probably the most important point of all. If you don’t believe in yourself, who will? You have to believe that you can achieve anything you set your mind to before anyone else will believe in you too.
